Major capital projects have focused on the convergence of academic, research, libraries, athletics, recreation, and support facilities in this compact area of campus. Abstract: Students who participate in off-campus programs frequently desire more on-campus integration, but limited financial resources require creative solutions to optimize space utilization and effectiveness. Eastern Michigan University’s College of Business has been located off campus in downtown Ypsilanti since 1991. We'll discuss Yale-NUS's unique educational model, the master planning and programming process for its new campus, and the campus's design. We'll also share lessons learned from designing the first residential and liberal arts college campus in Asia.
