Ginelle Lang
2016-2017 SCUP Fellow and Director of Campus Planning
Brandeis University
SCUP Coach: Howard Wertheimer, Institute Architect, Georgia Institute and Technology
Ginelle M. Lang is a registered architect and campus planner at Northeastern University. Previously, she was campus facilities planner at Brown University. Her work focuses on the science facilities, ranging from planning new capital projects to test-fitting lab renovations to assessing requests for additional storage space. Acknowledging the ever-changing needs of world class research space, Lang continually pursues the optimal balance of flexibility and functionality. From her time as an intern in the campus planning office of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), where she received her architecture degrees, to her design and project management experience on projects at Harvard, UMass, Princeton, and other institutions, Lang brings a background of historic renovation, innovative learning space development, and laboratory planning expertise to her current role.
