Mr. Edwin R. (Eddie) Beauchamp is the Regional Vice Chancellor of Business and Financial Services at the University of South Florida – Sarasota Manatee, a position he has held since August 2017.  As Regional Vice Chancellor, Mr. Beauchamp is responsible for all aspects of financial and operational support, reporting directly to the Regional Chancellor.  Specifically, this position manages the activities of budget and finance, purchasing, auxiliary enterprises, student accounts, human resources, technology services, public safety, facilities, space management, emergency preparedness, copy services, and mail and serves as a member of the executive management team.

Prior to assuming his duties as the Regional Vice Chancellor, Mr. Beauchamp served as the Vice President for Operations at Georgia Gwinnett College, a position he has held since August 2013.  Founded in 2005, Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) is the first new public 4-year college in Georgia in over 100 years and is the 31st member of the University System of Georgia. GGC is a premier 21st century four-year liberal arts institution and America’s first new public four-year liberal arts college in the 21st Century.  As Vice President, Mr. Beauchamp was responsible for all aspects of operational support, reporting directly to the President.  Specifically, this position manages the activities of the following organizational elements:  space management, public safety and emergency preparedness, environmental health and safety, fleet maintenance, call center.

In addition to his responsibilities at Georgia Gwinnett College, Mr. Beauchamp was a member of the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce, a member of the J.M. Tull-Gwinnett Family TMCA Executive Board, a member of the Society of College and University Planners.  He also served as a member of the National and Southern Association of College and University Business Officers

Prior to assuming his duties as the Vice President of Operations, Mr. Beauchamp served as the founding Vice President of Business and Finance of Georgia Gwinnett College.  As the CFO, his responsibilities included all business functions for the new college, to include accounting, budget management, human resources, facility construction and maintenance, public safety, as well as building the initial campus infrastructure to include implementing the accounting information system (PeopleSoft) and the student information system (Banner). Mr. Beauchamp contracted and managed all auxiliary support services, negotiated new contracts for food, bookstore, and residential services; managed the construction of all of the new buildings and the purchase of surrounding properties to support the new college: library, student center, dormitories, fitness center, intercollegiate athletic facilities, academic, and lab buildings.  This construction and development  totaled $185 million in new construction and $12 million in acquisition of existing properties.

Prior to serving at the Vice President, Mr. Beauchamp served as the Interim Director and Business Manager for the Gwinnett University Center, the Director of Internal Audit for Georgia Perimeter College, Internal Auditor to the Georgia Institute of Technology, and Staff Auditor for the Georgia Department of Audits.

Mr. Beauchamp graduated from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and hold a Masters in Accounting degree from Kennesaw State University.  He and his wife Pam are both natives of Atlanta, Georgia and they have one son, Jacob, who graduated from the University of North Georgia in May of 2015.
