SCUP 2021 Annual Conference | Frequently Asked Questions

We hope these commonly asked questions will help you prepare for another informative and exciting event! If you have any other questions, please contact the SCUP Events team at registration@scup.org. We will get back with you as soon as possible!

How do I access conference sessions?

New this year, the entire conference experience will be hosted on an event platform! From one place, you’ll be able to build a session calendar, attend sessions, visit sponsors, and connect with other attendees.

On Wednesday, July 7, all registered attendees were sent an email from sender name: SCUP Events, email address noreply@olibuh.com with an invitation to join the conference. Please check your spam filters if you didn’t find it in your inbox.

Process to Follow:

  1. Follow link you receive from SCUP Events [Chrome best optimization]
  2. Don’t use your VPN for a better experience
  3. Log in with your email address and password sent in the SCUP Events email
  4. Complete your profile
  5. Please allow the platform access to your microphone and camera when instructed to allow your participation in the Lounges
  6. The platform will check for compatibility when using your microphone or camera for interaction in the Lounges
How do I watch ON DEMAND sessions?

All ON DEMAND sessions can be found on the Hubilo Agenda page, July 12 from 8:00-9:00 AM. These sessions will be available at any time during the conference.

What can I do in the event platform (Hubilo) profile area?

In your profile, you can:

  1. Add a photo of your smiling face.
  2. Confirm the information we have on file (be sure to include your planning responsibility).
  3. Set your visibility/communication options: If you prefer, you can hide your profile or opt out of chat messaging.
  4. Click on your name in the top right corner, select the gear settings icon, and select privacy.
Are continuing education credits available?

Yes, sessions that qualify for CEUs are noted at the end of the session description.

How do I record my CEUs?

Please follow the instructions included in this PDF.

When will the recordings be posted?

Recordings will be posted within 2 business days of their live presentation date. Only keynote and concurrent sessions will be recorded.

Can I get CEUs from the recordings?

Yes! To be eligible for credits from a recording, an evaluation and a 10 question quiz must be taken. Credits from recordings will be available August 2.

Will there be a List of Registrants?

The SCUP website list of registrants includes only those who have opted in.
To access the list:

  1. Log in here (you will be asked to opt in or out).
  2. Once logged in, click on “Registrations” in the left sidebar
  3. Click “View” under “SCUP 2021 Annual Conference.”
  4. Click on the participant list question.

The list is currently available online only; after the conference, we will send you a PDF list via email to all full conference registrants.

The platform attendee’s list includes all registrants of the conference. Attendees can manage their privacy settings in their profile, and opt-out of showing contact information.

Are closed captioning services available?

Yes, closed captioning will be shown for all sessions.

How do I submit a session evaluation?

Currently, the only way to submit a session evaluation is by recording CEU attendance. Follow the instructions listed under “Live Sessions (Face-to-Face and Virtual) / Using Your Browser / How to Submit Attendance”.

We are working to improve this process for future conferences.

Can I turn off the transcription feature in Hubilo?

The transcription service cannot be disabled. While transcription technology is still evolving and is not yet ideal, we appreciate your understanding as it is a core value for SCUP to provide an equitable and inclusive learning environment.
