Sylvia Ramirez is the associate vice president of budget and management at Madison Area Technical College. Previously, she was director of budget and planning at the University of Wisconsin (UW) Colleges. She has a BA in English from the University of Florida and an MPA from the La Follette School of Public Affairs at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is completing her PhD in higher educational leadership and policy analysis at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she studies the financial management of higher education institutions.
