Shelby is the Associate Director for Campus and Space Planning at the University of Illinois Chicago. As an urban planner, Shelby has 10 years of experience in the planning field. Her specialties include facility space planning and programming, master planning, transportation planning and GIS. Shelby has experience working in city government, where she collaborated with communities to translate their needs into actionable neighborhood plans that promoted quality of life and walkability. She enjoys problem solving and synthesizing complex information into easy-to-understand and relatable material. Shelby has a Master’s degree in Urban Planning & Policy and a certificate in Geospatial Analysis and Visualization.
