Sean Scollins

Assistant Vice President of Engineering and Energy Management
Columbia University

Sean Scollins serves as the Assistant Vice President of Engineering and Energy Management for Columbia University Facilities and Operations. In this role, Sean leads the Engineering, Commission, and Energy Management teams along with the oversight of the Central Energy Plants at the Morningside and Manhattanville campuses. He directs, strategizes, and organizes utility plant operation, energy management, and sustainability initiatives, including master planning, conservation efforts, managing renewable energy portfolios, strategic procurement of natural gas and electricity, and other energy-related strategic initiatives. Previously, Sean served as the Director of Energy Management for the Hudson Yards development and has held several operations management roles in commercial and Navy nuclear power generating facilities. He is a graduate of SUNY Maritime College receiving a Bachelor of Engineering in Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture.
