Dr. Robert DiCenzo
Dean
Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences
Robert DiCenzo is currently the Dean of the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University, School of Pharmacy – Boston. He received his B.S. in Pharmacy from the University at Buffalo and his Pharm.D. from the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPS). Before his current deanship, he was the Dean of the Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy at Shenandoah University, which operated campuses in Winchester, VA and at the Inova Center for Personalized Health in Fairfax, VA. In his role as Dean, and in previous administrative positions, Dr. DiCenzo achieved significant experience and insights in strategic planning, resourcing, and the future of the Pharmacy profession. His previous positions held include Professor and Senior Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Interim Dean at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS); Chair of the Pharmacy Practice Department at ACPHS; Director of Experiential Education at St John Fisher College; Associate Professor at the University at Buffalo; and Adjunct Assistant Professor and IRB Chair at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He has received research support from the government (NIAID/ACTG and NIDA), industry and professional organizations.
His professional service includes President of the APhA-Academy of Pharmaceutical Research and Science, APhA-Clinical Science Section Chair and he is a Fellow of American College of Clinical Pharmacy and the American Pharmacists Association (APhA).
