Nora McCabe

State University Construction Fund

Nora McCabe is the Deputy General Manager at the State University Construction Fund, overseeing all Administrative and Operational functions. In this role, Nora also oversees and provides strategic direction for capital program planning and management, as well as the financing of SUNY’s $8.5 billion capital program for SUNY’s 32 State-operated campuses and 3 teaching hospitals.

Nora has been with the State University Construction Fund for 10 years, having previously served as the Director of Capital Program Management and Finance. In addition, Ms. McCabe served for 6 years as the Assistant Director for Policy, Research and Training in the Division of Local Government and School Accountability at the Office of the State Comptroller, and 13 years at New York State Division of the Budget, where she was responsible for leading the higher education team that developed and implemented budgets for the State University of New York and the State’s financial aid programs.
