Meaghan C. Smith is a Principal Planner/Project Manager for the California State University Office of the Chancellor. She is responsible for providing a primary interface between the system’s 23 campuses and the Board of Trustees and State of California for all physical planning activities, from program conception to construction completion for all capital outlay projects. Prior to her current role, Ms. Smith was the Manager of Planning at Cal Poly Pomona, where she oversaw the revision of the campus physical master plan. She also led the annual development of the capital outlay program, which included academic buildings, residence halls, student life and recreation facilities, and public/private partnership developments. Ms. Smith earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban and Regional Planning, and a Master of Public Administration degree, both from Cal Poly Pomona. She is a LEED Accredited Professional and was selected as the California State University Sustainability Champion in 2012.
