Lisa Jasinski

President
Associated Colleges of the Midwest

Dr. Lisa Jasinski serves as the President of the Associated Colleges of the Midwest (ACM). An independent non-profit, the ACM cultivates partnerships, attracts funding, builds communities of practice, and creates a space to experiment and innovate among its fourteen member colleges.

A higher education researcher, Lisa is the author of Stepping Away: Returning to the Faculty from Senior Academic Leadership (Rutgers University Press, 2023). Her writings have appeared in The Chronicle on Higher Education, Inside Higher Ed, and HigherEd Jobs. Before coming to ACM, Lisa worked for nearly two decades on college campuses as a strategic planner. She led a variety of special projects at the University of Texas at San Antonio and Trinity University.

A true believer in the transformative power of higher education, Lisa is proud to be the first member of her immediate family to have earned a college degree. Lisa holds a B.A. from Middlebury College, a M.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Ph.D. from The University of Texas at Austin. She has completed the Nonprofit Financial Stewardship Program at the Harvard Kennedy School of Executive Education and the Professional Certificate in Foresight from the University of Houston. She is a former American Council on Education Fellow and Fulbright Specialist to Finland. She was a Society of College and University Planning (SCUP) Fellow in 2024-25 and completed a project on the futures of planning in higher education.
