Lindsey Rowell

Lindsey Rowell is an energy and sustainability professional with over 15 years of experience. Her concentration has centered around public service energy use reduction, decarbonization, water conservation, zero waste, renewable energy and environmental justice. Lindsey has been responsible for hundreds of megawatts of renewable energy generation installation as well as millions of dollars in cost savings through efficiency measures. More recently her role has expanded to address issues of injustice as they relate to environmental equity, working with campuses throughout the CSU system to develop strategies to address disparities between disadvantaged students and communities. These efforts include the passage of the Board of Trustees’ CSU Sustainability Policy which emphasizes food and clothing redistribution programs, sustainable procurement strategies, DEI program support, and academic efforts to graduate climate literate students. Lindsey holds a BS. in Neuroscience from Sacramento State University, an MPAP from CSU Dominguez Hills, and an MBA from CSU Monterey Bay.
