Ms. Wyrick brings a wealth of experience from her career in city planning at Bay Area and Coastal California jurisdictions, as well as roles in higher education facilities management within both the UC and CSU systems to her position as the Director of Campus Planning and Development at California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB).

Julie holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Barbara and a Master of City and Regional Planning from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Her passion lies in planning, designing, and constructing inclusive buildings and spaces that foster community and higher learning.

CSUMB is special to her because of its stunning coastal location and the vibrant community of students, faculty, and alumni who have made it an institution renowned for small class sizes and personal attention, as well as it’s vital communal spirit.
