As Executive Director of Capital Projects, Julie leads the teams for Major Capital Projects, Special Projects, and Cost and Schedule Controls to deliver capital initiatives across the 13 million square feet and over 1100 buildings that make up the main UC Davis campus and its satellite facilities. She is a California-licensed architect and LEED-AP and earned a B.S. in Interior Architecture and Business Management from UC Davis. Her career has specialized in alternative delivery methods and highly sustainable design with a wide range of award-winning buildings, including housing, biosafety level 3 laboratories, a teaching and research winery, multi-use classrooms, and an art museum. She is an active member of SCUP and Owner’s Chair of Design-Build Institute of America, Sacramento Chapter.
