Julia Jack
Director of Capital Projects and Operations

Julia Su Jack is an accomplished architect and capital project management leader with more than three decades of experience transforming communities through thoughtful design, construction, and workforce development. As Director of Capital Projects and Operations for the City of Hartford, CT, she oversees over $400M in public school construction, municipal buildings, and park redevelopment, bringing equity, sustainability, and innovation to the built environment.
Julia’s career spans public sector leadership, higher education, and infrastructure. She holds a
master’s degree in construction management and a bachelor’s degree in architecture. As a licensed architect, she is a member of the Connecticut State Architectural Licensing Board and Executive Board member of the American Institute of Architect’s Connecticut chapter.Beyond her technical leadership, Julia is the creator and host of the F50Woman podcast, “Wisdom, Wins and Wakeup Calls,” a platform amplifying the voices and life lessons of women over 50. She is also the author of the monthly LinkedIn newsletter titled, “Letters to Our Daughters”, offering wisdom, encouragement, and character-building encouragement to the next generation of professional women. Passionate about mentoring, representation in leadership, and using architecture as a tool for social impact, Julia brings authenticity, clarity, and a collaborative spirit to every person and place she builds.
