Heather Bishop
Facilities Planner
University of Maryland, Baltimore County
Baltimore, MDHeather Bishop has been a member of campus planning for the University of Maryland, Baltimore County since 2012, and at Towson University from 2005 – 2012. She specializes in campus planning projects, space planning and concept development, scope and budget development, facility programming, long-range planning studies, condition assessments, space asset management, and space data reporting. Bishop has supervised and mentored over 50 high school and college student workers during her time at Towson University and UMBC. She is a graduate of the Syracuse University School of Architecture and worked for an architecture firm in Syracuse prior to transitioning from a firm to a university. Bishop is the chair of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Council and a member of the Governance and Leadership Committee at the Society for College and University Planning.
