Floyd Cline II, NOMA, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, is an architect and Principal with Perkins&Will. He has developed a deep portfolio in the design and planning of Higher Education and Science facilities. Floyd’s strength lies in his ability to understand and interpret the unique needs of students, faculty, staff and translate them into built form that connects them physically, emotionally, and mentally. He believes that both the building’s purpose and function must match the high standards set by the initial vision. Floyd is a member of Perkins&Will’s Learning Spaces Group, providing thought leadership on best practices and innovation to the practice nationally. He serves as Champion of his Studio’s Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (J.E.D.I.) team, bringing awareness and education to J.E.D.I. topics in the ways they affect everyday life, the community and design projects. He graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Kansas.
