Eric has more than 25 years of experience in higher education facilities planning spanning several years in central administration at Michigan State University, along with a decade of consulting in the private sector developing strategic facility plans for numerous colleges and universities.  His work is focused on integration of the physical environment with organizational performance, strategically aligning space with academic, operational, and financial objectives. A long-time member of the Society for College and University Planners (SCUP), he currently holds a position on the SCUP North Central Region Council.  In addition, Eric is a member and past Board member of the Higher Education Facilities Management Alliance, and a frequent conference speaker on the topic of strategic facilities planning.
