Ellen Koski is the Assistant Director for Strategic Planning in the Office of Institutional Effectiveness at Northern Michigan University. In this role, she guides the university-wide strategic planning process, fostering alignment between institutional vision, goals, and operations. Ellen leverages her expertise in data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and project management to facilitate informed decision-making and drive continuous improvement across the university. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Languages and Literatures from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and a Master’s of Public Health from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. Ellen’s background in community health promotion and public health education enriches her approach to strategic planning, particularly in areas of community engagement and evidence-based practices. Her work aims to enhance the university’s impact while promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the planning process.
