Dr. Edward Inch is President at MSU-Mankato. Throughout his career, Dr. Inch has consistently demonstrated he is a strategic leader who understands the importance of working in a collaborative, transparent, and authentic manner to build a shared vision to ensure the success of all students. He is leading the Destination 2030 Strategic Planning with a focus on MSU as a leader in transformational learning and inspired action.

Dr. Inch held various administrative appointments prior to joining Minnesota State Mankato. Most recently, Dr. Inch served as provost and vice president for academic affairs at California State University, East Bay, from August 2016 to June 2021, where he focused on improving student outcomes, reducing equity gaps, and increasing access. Dr. Inch served as a tenured professor at California State University, East Bay; California State University, Sacramento; Capital University, and Pacific Lutheran University.
