Dr. Scott Cline
Senior Higher Education Executive, Consultant, Advisor, Coach, and Speaker
Dr. Scott Cline is a senior higher education executive, consultant, advisor, coach, and speaker. He has held leadership roles at California College of the Arts, Stanford University, and Chapman University, specializing in enrollment management, financial aid, and auxiliary services.
Dr. Cline earned a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from San Francisco State University, a Master of Arts in Education Leadership and Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Political Science from Chapman University.
He has an extensive record of service in leadership positions within various professional organizations. He is a past president of both the California Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (CASFAA) and the Western Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (WASFAA). Dr. Cline also served as the primary negotiator for financial aid administrators with the U.S. Department of Education on the Title IV Loans Negotiated Rulemaking Committee that developed the REPAYE program and contributed as a subject matter expert to the College Cost Transparency Initiative task force.
He resides in San Francisco, CA, when he’s not traveling to destinations near and far.
