Diane S. Stephens is a member-at-large of the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) Board of Directors. She has participated in various roles with SCUP including serving as a Planning Institute Facilitator, the Annual Conference program chair (2022), Chair of the Advancement Committee (2023-24), and member of the Academic Planning Academy. Diane served as Associate Vice President for Academic Resources and Planning Emeritus at California State University, Northridge until 2024, and has over 30 years of experience in higher education. During her tenure, responsibilities included budget planning and management, facilities planning and utilization, academic scheduling, and staff human resources planning for the Division of Academic Affairs. Diane has an MBA from CSU Northridge with continuing education including completion of the SCUP Planning Institute, Leadership California, the Harvard University Graduate School of Education Management Development Program, and the Western Association of College and University Business Officers Business Management Institute.
