Dana Prymak is the Associate Director for Strategic Planning and Foresight with Integrated Planning and Effectiveness (IPE) at Thompson Rivers University (TRU) in Kamloops, British Columbia. Her work is dedicated to fostering a culture of planning and foresight within the university. Dana has actively contributed to numerous institutional projects, including a pan-institutional visioning exercise, the development of the Integrated Strategic Plan, and facilitated strategic planning processes and strategic foresight workshops for various units. She uses strategic foresight and futures thinking exercises to help members of TRU community to stretch their thinking and prepare more resilient strategies for the future. Dana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science and Master of Education in Statistics and Evaluation. She has formal foresight training with the Institute for the Future and Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies.
