Dr. Dana Michael Harsell is an experienced higher education leader specializing in strategic planning, program assessment, and accreditation. He directs the Master of Public Administration program at the University of North Dakota, where he teaches current and aspiring public servants in public management, state and local governance, and human resources. Harsell co-chaired the university-level strategic planning process that resulted in the OneUND 5-year strategic plan, strengthening institutional direction and effectiveness. He is a former American Council on Education (ACE) Fellow and currently serves on the Executive Council of the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration. As a community chair for the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP), Harsell helps foster connections and engagement that advance institutional effectiveness and continuous improvement across the higher education enterprise.
