Carole Post
Vice President for Facilities and Public Safety Operations
University of South Florida
With a background in public service and higher education, Carole joined USF in 2016, working in various leadership positions in USF Health, including leading the academic, research, and clinical building operations. Carole took a two-year leave of absence from USF to serve as the City of Tampa’s Administrator for Development and Economic Opportunity overseeing Development and Construction Services, Real Estate, Affordable Housing, Historic Preservation, and the Convention Center.
After returning to USF as Vice President for Facilities and Public Safety Operations in March, Carole provides leadership for facilities and campus safety across the three USF campuses and USF Health. She is responsible for the continued commitment to USF’s operational excellence, facilitating quality service delivery to the USF community, aligning land use and property assets with the university’s strategic vision, and promoting compliant business practices and sound resource management while supporting USF’s principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
