Brodie Bain
Principal
NAC|Architecture
As Architect and Planner, Brodie Bain has over 30 years of experience focused on the Pre-Design/Planning Process for higher education institutions. Brodie’s passion is helping institutions achieve their mission with a supportive physical environment. This requires thinking strategically about priorities within the context of the long-term vision. Her work in campus planning, programming, utilization studies, site planning and pre-designs for the full range of campus building types at over 40 institutions affords a comparative perspective that is invaluable to clients. Brodie‚ approach stems from a passion for listening to users and translating their needs into workable space within the context of physical opportunities and operational constraints. Her master plans include physical solutions that weave open space, connections and context with building function, placement and image. Brodie has worked across the country and led nationally innovative approaches to sustainable master planning.
