Alice Donlan
Director of Research for the Teaching and Transformation Center
University of Maryland
Dr. Alice Donlan (she/her) is the Director of Research for the Teaching and Transformation Center (TLTC) at the University of Maryland. In her role, Dr. Donlan conducts formative evaluations of TLTC programs, provides consultations to instructors, and implements quantitative and qualitative research that addresses questions about teaching and learning that are relevant to campus. Her past projects have focused on topics such as mid-semester student evaluations of teaching, active learning classrooms, and ways to build relationships between mentors and youth. Dr. Donlan earned her doctorate in Human Development with a specialization in Educational Psychology from the University of Maryland, and a BA in Psychology from the College of William & Mary.
