Thomas is a systems engineer and architect specializing in sustainable habitat design and environmental simulation. He holds a degree in Space Architecture from the University of Houston, where his research focused on regenerative life support systems that integrate plant-based and waste-recycling technologies.

Since joining Ayers Saint Gross, Thomas has applied his expertise to develop accurate environmental simulations that predict real-world performance related to daylight, heat, and wind. His work supports project certifications under sustainability standards such as LEED and Fitwel, and he collaborates across disciplines to advance the firm’s AIA 2030 Commitment goals and continued leadership in sustainable design.
