Jennifer Bentson

Associate Vice President of Special Initiatives for Finance and Planning
Georgia Institute of Technology

Jennifer Bentson is currently the Associate Vice-President of Special Initiatives for Finance & Planning (F&P) at Georgia Tech (GT). F&P consists of multiple units that focuses on integrating planning (including capital), strategic resource management, financial oversight of Institute operations, analytic support for decision-making, and the optimization of financial systems. Jennifer provides strategic oversight and tactical support where necessary on these functions, in addition to providing support on special projects for the Chief Business Officer.

Jennifer joined GT in March 2015 as the Chief of Staff to the Senior Vice President for
Administration & Finance and assumed increasing responsibilities, including interim oversight of eight units for nearly two years. Prior to GT, she was a director at a large
consulting firm that focused specifically on higher education clients. She also worked for
Northwestern University to implement systems and processes that supported research
compliance.

Jennifer holds a MBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and a BS in
International Trade and Finance from Louisiana State University.
