Gene Villalobos is Executive Director of Facilities Planning and Space information within Columbia Facilities and Operations.  With 25+ years of experience at Columbia University, Gene leads a team in the early-stage planning and development of capital projects and new initiatives on Columbia’s Morningside, Manhattanville, Lamont, and Nevis Campuses. Gene is also responsible for the management of the University space database and drawing archives.
Gene earned a Master of Architecture from Columbia University Graduate School of Planning and Preservation and a Bachelor of Arts from the College of Environmental Design at the University of California, Berkeley.
