June Ng

Executive Director of Capital Projects
Barnard College
New York, NY

June Ng has 20 years of experience in higher education campus planning, design, and construction. She currently serves as the Executive Director of Capital Projects at Barnard College, where she collaborates closely with college leadership, faculty, staff, students, trustees, donors, and other internal and external stakeholders to develop transformative initiatives that improve the campus environment. She leads interdisciplinary teams of architects, engineers, interior designers, and contractors, while working in tandem with finance and administration to bring complex capital projects to life. Seeing faculty, staff and students thrive in thoughtfully designed spaces is the most rewarding aspect of her work.

Prior to joining Barnard, June was at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) for 10 years, first as Director of Space Planning and Management, and later as Executive Director of Campus Planning and Design. Her earlier experience includes roles at AllianceBernstein, the Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance, Taylor & Burns Architects, and Fox & Fowle Architects (now FXCollaborative). June holds a B.A. in Sociology from the State University of New York at Geneseo and has completed coursework in the Master of Architecture program at the Boston Architectural College.
