Matt Melvin

Vice President for Enrollment Management
Pennsylvania State University

Matt Melvin currently serves as the Vice President Enrollment Management at Penn State where he is responsible for achieving and evaluating the strategic enrollment management plan for the university, which includes full oversight over the following functional areas: Undergraduate Office of Admissions, Financial Aid and Scholarships and the Office of the University Registrar. Prior to assuming the position at Penn State in August of 2022, Melvin served as Vice Provost for Enrollment Management at the University of Kansas and Associate Vice Provost for Enrollment Management at the University of Central Missouri.

Melvin earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Central College in Pella, Iowa, his Master of Science in College Student Personnel from Western Illinois University and his Doctorate of Education with an emphasis in Higher Education Administration and Educational Leadership from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
