Eric Höweler

Eric Höweler is a co-founding partner of Höweler + Yoon and Professor of Architecture at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design where he is also the Director of the Master of Architecture program. Höweler’s design work and research focuses on building technology integration and material systems. Höweler’s projects range from higher education institutional buildings and cultural buildings, to public spaces and interactive environments.

Höweler + Yoon Architecture is an award-winning, design-driven architecture and urbanism practice whose work is deeply informed by social and cultural context. The studio’s current projects include the Karsh Institute of Democracy at the University of Virginia, as well as the Living Village at the Yale Divinity School. Recent projects include the new MIT Museum in Cambridge, MA and the UVA Memorial, a landform structure dedicated to enslaved laborers at the University of Virginia.
