Mr. Harvey has been working with higher education client institutions for over 30 years and is a national leader in the Education Practice for Arcadis.  He served for 14 years under Appointment to the California State University, Chancellor’s Office and nationally for over 16 years, focused on public and private higher education institutions in over 40 states.

As a Planner, for more than a dozen years now, SCUP has played an important role in his business and career.  He is a trained leader in education related workshops and a graduate of the SCUP Integrated Planning Institute. He has served in several SCUP leadership positions including being elected to serve on the SCUP Council and elected Regional Chair, to lead the SCUP North Central Region from 2019 to 2022.

Dale holds a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Studies (Design & Construction emphasis) from San Diego State University.  His working knowledge of campuses, from master planning to the design and construction of campus infrastructure and great campus spaces, is only surpassed by the valued relationships he has built and maintains with campus leaders.  Since 1983, he holds a license as a Professional Land Surveyor.
