Lakeeya Blue is the events manager for the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP). Blue works with SCUP volunteers to plan the five regional conferences and various symposia that provide a place for members to learn and connect with the planning and higher education community. She strives to create a seamless environment for members and nonmembers alike to connect.

Prior to SCUP, Blue worked as the event sales manager for the Portland Timbers, an MLS soccer team. She led the events department and managed all external events at the soccer stadium. Before finding her niche in events, Blue held a few positions within one of the largest advertising firms in the world.

She is a Michigan native and a graduate of Michigan State University. Blue loves a good competition, especially a bake-off.
