Jillian Kavanagh

Fisheries and Marine Institute of Memorial University
St John's, NL, CanadaRecognized for her insightful and energetic approach to institutional planning, Jillian Kavanagh has led the development of the Fisheries and Marine Institute of Memorial University planning strategy since 2008. Currently, her primary roles are to lead the development and implementation of Vision 2020, the Institute’s strategic plan, and the Institute’s annual planning cycle. She has also developed and facilitated a number of workshops on strategic planning including to international delegations from Tanzania and Anguilla. Jillian has been a member of SCUP for a number of years and is an at-large a member of SCUP North Atlantic Regional Council. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry) and a Master of Business Administration from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and is a graduate of SCUP’s Planning Institute.
