A native of Cork City, Ireland, Ruairi has been working in the planning and sustainability field for more than 10 years. With particular expertise in urban sustainability issues, Ruairi leads a talented team of professional and student employees working to advance sustainability at the university and in the wider community.

Ruairi has a bachelor of arts Geography and English , University College Cork, Ireland, A masters in Plan Planning and Sustainable Development , University College Cork, Ireland Campus Sustainability Leadership Certificate, University of Vermont.
