Sustainability Manager. Ezra focuses on sustainable systems to reduce the campus environmental footprint in energy, transportation, and waste. Notable accomplishments include establishing the Sustainability, Innovation & Engagement Fund, installing the largest solar project on a college campus in New England, and launching ValleyBike – the regional electric assist bike share program, and most recently co-chaired the Carbon Mitigation Taskforce which has developed a plan for UMass to transition to 100% renewable energy by 2032.

Ezra has a bachelor’s of liberal arts degree from The Evergreen State College, and a master of science degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Conservation from University of Massachusetts Amherst.
