Katherine Speicher Melluish
Senior Associate
GWWO Architects
Katherine Speicher Melluish, AIA, LEED AP, exhibits a passion for the design of innovative spaces, forms, and environments that sensitively respond to the specific constraints and opportunities of each project. Her planning and design efforts for higher education, K-12, and cultural institutions have resulted in award-winning spaces for learning and exploration for those of all ages.
Kathy has served as an adjunct faculty member for Morgan State University, Towson University, and the University of Maryland. She has participated on numerous design awards juries and as both visiting critic and student mentor for various architectural and design programs within the region. She recently completed six years of service on the Board of Directors for The Pennsylvania State University’s Architecture Alumni Group and is a member of the Baltimore Chapter of the AIA. A licensed architect, she holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Architecture, with an interdisciplinary minor in architectural history, from Penn State.
