Meaghan C. Smith is an At-Large Member of the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) Pacific Regional Council. Meaghan serves as Director of Planning at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and leads the team responsible for capital planning, space optimization, and project initiation. Meaghan has over 20 years of campus planning and sustainability experience, both on campus and in the California State University Office of the Chancellor. Meaghan holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, a Master of Public Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning, all from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and is a LEED Accredited Professional. Her research interest is the relationship between professional development and job satisfaction of capital projects employees in the higher education sector.
