Sadie Wutka is the director, of content for the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP), where she brings together learning opportunities and competencies for the entire planning community. Wutka learns about SCUP’s audiences and what keeps them up at night, helping SCUP provide learning resources and experiences that are relevant and useful. She loves that “Aha!” moment, when you learn something new. Through her work, she strives to provide that “Aha!” moment to others.

In her past life, Wutka worked in . . . well, the past. As presentation specialist at The Henry Ford, she led living history programming on a working 1880s farm. Whether she was cooking on a coal-burning stove or driving a team of Percheron draft horses, Wutka used immersive experiences to teach 500,000 people a year about the past (while making it relevant to the present).

Wutka dreams of snowy winters and Lagavulin Distillers Edition. She loves to eat the fat off her boyfriend’s steaks (true love!) and make up songs about their cat. She probably has too many hobbies. Wutka is working on her PhD in sweet wordplay, but is struggling to finish her dessert-ation.
