What types of outreach, tactics, and platforms prove most successful in engaging a broad constituency to inform planning, both within the institutions and with the surrounding communities? Join us to discover how you can apply these methods and tools at your institution to positively impact the student, faculty, and community experience.

Learning Outcomes:

1. Identify the cultural, social, economic, and political forces that most influence student access and equity.
2. Think outside-the-box to advance new tools, collaborations, and partnership opportunities while leveraging your individual role at your institution to influence positive change.
3. Discuss the process of building a successful campus brand while distinguishing unique characteristics that reflect the local demography and community.
4. Consider how communities perceive, experience, and imagine built environments differently, and how you can include underrepresented voices in planning campus spaces.
