This symposium will illustrate the importance of mass timber in campus design and planning healthy, sustainable campus buildings. Design professionals and industry leaders will discuss how building code, project delivery, budgeting, and technical requirements play a key role in delivery of these projects. 1. Define the use of mass timber construction in supporting university sustainability and carbon reduction goals for a healthier campus.

3. Explain the economic development impact at the campus, regional, and state level as a direct outcome of a mass timber focus.
