Higher education is in trouble. Developing an effective, impactful method to evaluate institutional offerings, with the goal of streamlining the organization’s portfolio to include only viable, sustainable, and valuable programs, both academic and operational, will stave off desperation and reactive decision making in the difficult years to come.
Utilizing Dickeson’s methodology as a foundation, I’ll present a review and prioritization pathway that focuses on student centeredness and supports faculty and staff co-creation and engagement.
What This Webinar Will Cover
- Academic Program Review
- Operational Office Review
- Strategic, Prioritized Resource Allocation
- Data-Informed Decision Making
- Student and Human-Centered Processes
- Shared Governance
- Faculty and Staff Professional Development
Learning Outcomes
- Articulate the foundational components of Dickeson’s Program Review methodology and the obstacles that typically arise when implementing academic and operational program review processes at higher education institutions.
- Analyze the impact of those existential threats, both in the post-secondary sector and throughout the US socio-cultural context, on higher education financial models and employee morale and motivation.
- Recognize the benefit of academic and operational program review processes developed through co-creation for the continued improvement of institutional effectiveness and employee development and morale.
