Strategic Planning Responses to the Pandemic
July 9, 2020Free Webinar | 12:00 - 1:00 PM Eastern- Event Home
With the entire academic community scrambling to establish what higher education looks like this fall, planning has been even harder than usual. And yet the pandemic opens opportunities to consider an entirely new set of choices previously unavailable to those guiding their institutions forward. Each and every urgent decision being made on campus today has the potential to define an entirely new future campus. The drivers for those decisions may or may not be creating a desirable new future
Learning Outcomes:
- Discuss the challenges facing the higher education built environment entering the pandemic.
- Identify pandemic impacts on planning activity already underway.
- Discuss early assumptions about impacts for the future of academia that may or may not be holding true.
- Consider institutional planning decisions that are having impacts on the campus built environment, both positive and negative.
