Risk Management Considerations: Campus Housing & Residence Life During COVID-19

Hear from members of the ACUHO-I Future of Housing Work Group who will discuss what campus housing and residence life will look like when we return to campus next term. This work group was assembled to explore the implications of COVID-19 for the live-on experience, create resources, and inform the work of stakeholders who work with ACUHO-I members on risk management issues. This conversation will also address the need for proactive educational efforts and student behavior related policy as key mitigation strategies for a safe return to campus life. Questions and conversation are encouraged via an open mic or chat on the Zoom platform.
This program is brought to you in partnership, by the Association of College and University Housing Officers-International (ACUHO-I), University Risk Management and Insurance Association (URMIA), & SCUP.
Learning Outcomes:
- Understand critical aspects of the campus living experience related to COVID-19
- Uncover resources necessary to evaluate options
- Hear key components of the work group’s recommendations
