Swarthmore College: Virtual Campus Stroll

Presented by John Cacciola, Scott Delaney, Jan Semler, Craig Spangler

Join higher ed planning leaders from the greater Philadelphia area for an afternoon of discovery and connecting as Swarthmore College’s leadership shares insight into how the college’s newest addition, Maxine Frank Singer ‘72 Hall, decided to create a collaborative environment by combining three academic departments—Biology, Engineering, and Psychology. Each floor combines functional areas for teaching, research, and learning. The unique common space, both indoor and out in the adjacent gardens will foster connections with nearby academic programs and enrich the mission of The Scott Arboretum.

Following the opening remarks, tour guides will lead you through Maxine Frank Singer ‘72 Hall adding to the insights shared earlier in the day. You will also walk through Swarthmore College’s award-winning arboretum campus along with stops at several notable gardens and buildings.

Your day will begin and end at The Inn at Swarthmore, where you can continue great conversations over light fare and drinks in Gathering Room B following the tour.

This event is sold out.

This is a SCUP members-only event.
