Find Clarity Amid Uncertainty: Join a Peer Working Group on Contingency Planning
In a time of disruption and uncertainty, leaders in higher education need space to think, adapt, and learn from one another. The Contingency Planning in Uncertain Times Working Group offers just that—a focused, peer-driven experience designed to help campus leaders share strategies, surface challenges, and strengthen their planning practices together.
This program consists of three live, one-hour online sessions, each facilitated by an expert in higher education contingency planning. Participants will engage in open, honest dialogue within a small cohort of peers facing similar institutional pressures—from enrollment shifts and funding uncertainties to unexpected policy or leadership changes.
This is not a webinar or training—it’s a chance to learn from each other in real time. If you’re looking for a trusted community to exchange ideas, test approaches, and build practical solutions together, this working group is for you.
Are you navigating difficult decisions related to funding, staffing, or resource allocation?
Who Is This For?
This working group is designed for higher education professionals responsible for planning, strategy, or managing through change. You’ll find it especially valuable if you:
- Lead or support institutional or departmental contingency planning efforts.
- Serve on cross-functional teams focused on risk management, strategic planning, or campus resilience.
Benefits:
- Direct access to a small network of peers navigating similar challenges.
- A facilitated space to test ideas and refine approaches in real time.
- Practical insights from an expert in contingency planning.
- A break from institutional silos—engage in open, cross-institutional dialogue.
Workshop Duration
This online live program takes place over three sessions—session dates are July 30, August 13, and August 27. All sessions run from 11:00 AM–12:00 PM Eastern.
