Navigating Capacities in Uncertain Budgets
Many colleges and universities are experiencing hiring freezes as a result of widespread disruption throughout the higher ed space. Much of 2025 is still uncertain and much of the needed work must be done with fewer resources than ever.
Through countless conversations, volunteer input, survey insights, and conference sessions with our communities, ACPA, NACAS, and SCUP have joined to form the Inter-Association Movement (I-AM). Higher education needs transformation and higher education associations must work differently to support this transformation. This conversation brings key decision makers from all three associations to share perspectives on the limited capacities, how all three segments affect one another, and most importantly, how we can begin succeeding with cross-institutional collaboration and resource sharing.
