Community Conversation: Navigating the Early Stages of a Planning Career

Whether you’re brand new to planning or have recently taken on planning responsibilities, getting started can feel overwhelming. In this conversation, we’ll create space to explore what it means to be early in your planning career—what challenges show up, what skills matter most, and how to build confidence as you grow in your role.

This session will be moderated by a fellow professional who is also newer to planning, making it a truly peer-driven, conversational space. Together, we’ll share what’s worked, what hasn’t, and what support we each need to take the next step forward.
